Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients

  • 1.5-2 pounds chicken tenderloins
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 0.5 onion diced
  • 0.5 cup chicken broth
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice added at end
  • Fresh herbs for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Season chicken tenderloins with olive oil, salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
  • Place butter, garlic, and onions at the bottom of the slow cooker.
  • Arrange chicken on top in a single layer.
  • Pour chicken broth around the edges.
  • Cover and cook on LOW for 3-4 hours or HIGH for 1.5-2 hours.
  • Optional: Thicken sauce with cornstarch slurry in the last 30 minutes.
  • Finish with lemon juice and fresh herbs before serving.
  • Let rest for 5-10 minutes before serving.

Notes

Plan ahead for cooking time. Do not overcook or chicken may dry out. Excellent for kids and versatile for adding different flavors!
