Ingredients
  

Main Dough

  • all-purpose flour
  • warm water
  • active dry yeast
  • sugar
  • salt
  • olive oil

Cheese Mix

  • shredded mozzarella cheese
  • shredded cheddar cheese

Optional Topping

  • egg (optional for brushing)

Instructions
 

  • Mix warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let foam for 10 minutes.
  • Combine flour, salt, oil, and yeast mixture to form a dough.
  • Knead for 8–10 minutes until smooth.
  • Let dough rise in a covered bowl for 1 hour.
  • Fold shredded mozzarella and cheddar into the dough.
  • Shape into a loaf, place on tray, and let rise again for 30 minutes.
  • Brush with egg (optional) and bake at 375°F (190°C) for 25–30 minutes until golden.

Notes

Beginner-friendly with no fancy tools. Customize cheeses or make gluten-free/keto by swapping flour. Great for freezing or preparing ahead.
