cottage cheese
full-fat for creamier texture

Parmesan cheese
freshly grated

garlic

milk

or dried herbs of choice

Instructions
Add cottage cheese, garlic, and milk to a blender. Blend until smooth and creamy.
In a saucepan, melt butter over medium-low heat.
Pour the blended mixture into the pan and stir continuously for 2-3 minutes.
Reduce heat to low and gradually stir in Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
Add lemon juice and a pinch of nutmeg, stirring until well combined.
Serve immediately over pasta, vegetables, or protein of choice.
Notes
For a dairy-free version, substitute cottage cheese with silken tofu, Parmesan with nutritional yeast, and butter with olive oil.
