Ingredients
  

Brownie Base

  • butter melted
  • sugar
  • eggs
  • cocoa powder
  • all-purpose flour
  • vanilla extract

Chocolate Mousse

  • heavy cream
  • semisweet chocolate chips melted
  • powdered sugar
  • gelatin optional

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 325°F (163°C) and line baking pan.
  • Melt butter, then mix in sugar, cocoa, and vanilla.
  • Add eggs one at a time, whisking well.
  • Fold in flour gently to maintain fudginess.
  • Bake for 22–25 minutes. Cool completely.
  • Melt chocolate, whip cream with sugar, fold together.
  • Spread mousse on brownie, chill for 2–3 hours.
  • Slice with a hot knife and serve chilled.
